Forest

Nightfall on the forest floor
Thunder rumbles as it begins to pour
Pour with rain flood with clouds 
Run for shelter in the blooming flowers
No one's here
But that’s okay,
Because I have not just today
I have tomorrow and the next day
I’ve fought the mighty the brave the strong
I've had journeys that are long
And ones that felt wrong
Let my trees be green again
Instead of black and grey
Let’s start over with the things that still remain
We’ll welcome the flora and the fauna
Trees and bush around every corner 
Let the sky be blue
It’s their colours, yes it's true!
Nightfall on the forest floor
Fauna begins to snore
Peaceful days and peaceful nights 
Go on forest, sleep tight
With the last bit of sunlight
