There was a forest with the purest trees

And always the softest of breeze,

Birds chirped all day long

Singing a beautiful song.

Until a blazing fire came

The fire was far, far from tame,

The fire turned from orange to red

It soared a great way ahead.

It soon seemed that it would never end

The fire went on for another weekend,

The fire suddenly stopped

All the animals were very shocked.

We looked around and only saw ash

It was like the forest had a big gash,

All the animals decided to flee

Nothing at all could they do for the tree.

Decades later the forest grew

On every tree there was dew,

Animals came prancing back

It seemed as though there would never be another attack.
