Forest is Home

In shadows cast by progress' steady march,
A creature stirs, its plight a silent cry,
Once proud and strong beneath the azure sky,
Now dwindling 'neath the human footprint's arch.
From tundra vast to deep and coral sea,
Its home dissolves, consumed by greed's demand,
Where once it roamed, now vanishing like sand,
A whisper fading in the industry.
Yet hope persists in hearts that dare to care,
To stem the tide of loss, to take a stand,
To shield this life with love's protecting hand,
And weave anew a future bright and fair.
For every species, fragile, rare, or strong,
We bear the weight of stewardship's call,
To rise, unite, before the final fall,
And cherish Earth where all life does belong.
So let us rise, with courage undeterred,
To safeguard what remains, to heal, restore,
To honour life that we so deeply adore,
And pledge to save the treasures of this world.
