Forest Poem

I had a dream about a forest
The leaves were cotton candy
And the dirt smelt like chocolate
The animals were friendly
This is the forest in my dream
The forest need help
The trees are falling one by one
As they cut them down without hesitation
The animals are running for their lives
As they chase them for their lives
The “running water” is polluted with oils
Dead fish get dragged by the gushing oils
The forests need help
The forest cannot plant its own trees in these conditions
The fish cannot reproduce in these conditions
The animals cannot find a home in these conditions
Everything has changed
The forest needs help
