Formation

In the beginning
Formless, empty and darkness
There was spirit
Hovering over waters
Let there be light
Two great lights
Governing day and night
Then stars prosperous but numbered
Vivid in the vault above
Sprinkled with celestial clusters
Flickering onto a cosmic canvas
Jets of hot, fluorescent gases
Galaxies colliding with each other
Triggering the formation of stars
Corresponding the count of descendants
Outnumbering the grains of sand
The Earth, moon & planets
Dashing around the great red giant
A universe populated on a grand scale
By strands of superclusters
Unframed living wallpaper
Formed in orbit beyond comprehension
