Friendship Making Moment

As cold as metal on a freezing Winter’s day,
Smooth as a new shiny polished shoe,
As memorable as multi-coloured flowers growing on a newborn Spring day,
More rare than rubies,
More glittering than gold,
More precious than pearls,
More exciting than emeralds,
Even more loved than lollipops and chocolate,
To me this treasured moment is well remembered,
Just like the soldiers who marched and fought in the war.
