Frog's Triumph

Intrinsic is my poison,

Intrinsic are my bands

Of black and sulfur yellow

'gainst my pale feldmark land.

Intrinsic is small number

When you're a rarity

When tourist, industrial plunder

Invades the corroboree

But this is not my first fire

Nor shall it be my last.

I've braved many disasters

And still I hold steadfast

For I am more than just 'endangered'

or what you did to me;

The courage of my character

Is endemic, intrinsically.
