Slow steps into the room, the room of greenery
Several shades of green to be seen
A faint scent of grass mixed with flora
And a hidden memory

Visions of you and I surround the place,
As I watched your eyes glisten under the sun
All your attention towards the blossoming orchids
The memories of us two planting those flowers begin to fade away

I, in the present, begin to see the flowers wither,
Along with you
As the colour of the orchids fade, your health deteriorates
You, who I love, begin to disappear

Heavily the rain pours and the garden dies down
Slowly as I place the fragile orchids upon you
They are no longer idyllic nor graceful
Lifeless they are, as they dry up

Slow steps into the room,
The room that was once filled with delight
Weeds selfishly harvest from other plants
Leaves that fall one by one and a memory that had left.
