Reflecting off my window sill, greeting me in the morning,

Shining in my eyes, blurring up my vision.

Tanning me in Summer, a vast relief in Winter,

Streaks of pride shooting through the sky.

But when the winter storms unleash,

Clouds swarming around, closing up the path to laughter.

BANG! In a flash all light is gone,

People running for shelter as rain takes charge.

Soon the rain will pass, soon the sun will rise,

I will dance in the sunshine once more.

Everyone will cheer, smiling with delight,

We will sing in harmony, we will cry of joy.

Nothing can stop us now.

We will shoot up into the sky,

Light will coat the earth,

We will escape into our happy place!
