Green Love

In the magical forest, it’s so great but small.
The grand wishing willow is the master of all.
Our trunks make us big, he prays.
But our hearts are the smallest things where they lay.
Pushing through the great, big vines, you hear the lonely lavender who is the only one in her line.
Oh help me please! They sang their last note.
I already lost the ones I dearly loved the most.
You run away hearing the great pine tree, standing still, like a lion getting ready to attack.
But this time he looked like he just got stabbed in the back.
His cries are so loud you have to cover your ears.
But looking over you can see the bright red flames over the pier.
You run the other way, then you take a right.
You see the old gum tree, he looks like he just had a fright.
You climb his branches, he’s trying to move away.
You fall down and feel like you have passed away.
Little did I know, that two years later.
There’s now a way for the water to come back through.
It’s a magical feeling, I basically lived in this forest, now it’s gone.
But deep down I know that it will be reborn
