Green sea turtles have shells like giraffes.

In the warmth of the tropical sea,

green sea turtles soar through the water like birds.

Sadly only 85,000 to 90,000 left,

climbing in the sand and gliding in the ocean.

Flying in the water looking for food.

But being careful there are predators too.

Great green sea turtles,

getting more rare every day every day.

Munching on seagrass,

making sure they have energy

to make an escape
