Hanahaki Disease

Unrequited love,
Caused the Hanahaki disease—
A garden of death.

Staring from afar,
Her heart was filled with blooming love.
Her lungs— not so much.

Constant love for him,
Inlaid seeds in her lungs so deep, 
That were bound to grow.

How could he save her,
When his heart was for another?
The seeds were sprouting. 

To think it was fate—
How foolish can one truly be?
To die from full bloom.
