Strings pulled taut through the centre,
Ready to sing their melodic tune
About to break into song

A red hourglass filled with musical notes like uncooked spaghetti,
Some notes tuneful, some notes loud
The size of a kindergartner singing a cheerful chant

A giant tomato bitten by a vicious monster,
Just to get a taste of the harmony
About to be sung

An enlarged pear smothered in strawberry sauce,
Filled with strings of fairy floss
Creating a symphony

As the object rests on my lap,
My hand reaches into the sweet mixture
Breaking into song
