The waves were rippling gently

Clumps of seaweed washed up on the beach

The heap of sea swelled silently

Magpies swopping left to right

You can see your reflection in the billabong as birds circle slowly

A snake from the bushes quick as a cheetah, and a kookaburra singing on the branches

My hand runs across the flaky gumtree while a koala is nibbling on the gum leaves

I don't know how to explain it

It's just how it is

My home, my country

Which I will treasure for thousands of years.
