How the Floods Ruined Me

The floods came down,
Upon my land,
It ruined my town,
It ruined my sand.
I live right there,
Near the river is my home,
The floods didn’t care,
It didn’t leave my house alone.
Now we are ruined,
No money to pay,
Due to the flooding,
And here is our say:
We want a new home,
A garden, a car,
We don’t want to roam,
As a homeless beggar.
We need more money,
we need more cash,
we need relief,
We need to rid this trash.
