I am home

The wispy trees are calling me,
From the depths of the leafy deciduous forest,
The cool wet waterhole is begging me inside,
I am home
As dazzling aurora lights up the dark night,
It’s brings my knees to the cold hard cliffy ground,
I watch as it is whisked away by the cold chilling wind,
I am home
Squawk , go the seagulls fighting over what was left of an orange,
Hiss, go the snakes chasing an unlucky soon to be lunch,
Drip Drop, goes the first rain in days,
I am home
As the sugar gliders fly through the sunrise,
The kangaroos and joeys are waking up,
A new day has risen over the bushy land,
I am home
I am the sun as I shine down on the dry habitat,
I am the wind as I blow by the rocky land,
I am the moon as night falls once again,
I am home
