Trees are like knots that connect the earth to the sky

As tall as towers they too reach the night sky

The clawing tree branches almost cover the sun

Money doesn't grow on trees but trees are valuable

The leaves rustled in the wind gossiping with each other

Is a sound only a sound if someone hears it?

Whistling wind, rustling leaves, howling owls

Trees are near, trees are fear, beware of what you hear

Let them sing, let them share

Dark blue scars caving in, I know who you are, you're a star

You shine so bright with light green leaves

They're watching us, you and me, are they thieves?

Shoot up to the sky higher and higher

Your shady look, leaves like stars

I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree

See between the dark green leaves, stuck in emotions dark and grim

Eyes like emeralds left and right, see-through souls right and left

Trees are like knots that connect the earth to the sky, as tall as towers they too reach the night sky
