It all starts with a seed

A seed drops from a tree,
the seed has started to grow and has an eventful life ahead
the seed will grow up to a tree and will live to over a millennium like their ancestors did
but no.
we destroy them as soon as they flourish
we rip them up from the ground like carrots
we saw, we slash, we stab
only to be replaced with buildings and land that sell to satisfy our greed for money

Nature and trees are one of a kind
They are irreplaceable they are like human lives
But we do not care
While we do nothing about it, the forest is slowly withering like an old apple core
The trees and plants are slowly dying, all because of our greed
And if we keep this up there will be no trees to drop a seed
