It is impossible to describe a pearl in one or two words

White-pink pearls glowing in the light.
The soft cool touch of satin skin,
Snatched from the deep blue sea,
Bartered now for a fantasy.
You’re Mother Nature’s beauty,
And the ocean’s jewelry.
Your story is miraculous,
It gives me shivers,
You started in a clam and a single grain of sand,
Then with time and patience,
Becomes your beautiful appearance.
Each different sphere both smooth and sleek,
Firm when pressed against my cheek,
Such beauty, luminous and pure,
Their simple shape has a rich allure.
So elegant on my neck,
The shining little pearls,
As if brought by angels
From another world.
