Home to animals big and small
"Ka, ka, ka" the kookaburras warn
"Stay back, stay back" the animals call
They thought they wouldn't be here for dawn.
The flames spread
The koalas were the first to go
All the animals bow there heads.
Some animals are endangered,
Almost gone!

Home to animals big and small,
And if we don't look after them,
They won't be here for dawn.
