Jewel

When a ray of sunlight catches the jewel
Smaller, brighter sparks bound back
A pattern is formed with the small sparks
The shape of a whale is easily spotted
The crystal shakes with every movement I make
Bouncing up and down
Or swaying from side to side
Holding it up
The chain will sway
Moving gently with the wind
The necklace is special
I had it for so long
It’s been with me
Where ever I go
It has been to many different places
It will always be with me.
