Jewel

The coloured jewel shines like the sun,
The golden glow is like a star shining through the night.
It click clacks when being put on,
It's as colourful and bright like a rainbow with patterns.
The giraffe patterned necklace sits still like a lion catching its prey,
The jewel is as small as an ant that carries bread for its colony.
Its shape is round and curved like a donut,
It is a precious piece of jewellery that I have had for a while.
I keep it with me to make me smile,
I handle it with care,
So I could remember it for a while.
It's important to me,
So I have a memory to keep.
