June

All of a sudden there was a loud crack

Little baby birds were inside of the egg

Waiting for their mother to give them a snack

They were all hungry beginning to beg

Their mother was keeping them safe in their nest

They came together and were singing a nice tune

They were all together doing their best

Keeping each other warm not leaving anytime soon

Staying together until it is noon

Their mother wanting them to stay together forever 

Since she won’t be coming back until June

The little birds will have each other whenever

They all know they will see their mother soon
