Just another rainy day

Just another rainy day they say
As a girl I would feel drops on my face
So I knew the rain wasn’t going to delay
So the rain came down just the case
Then curtains of rain just filled all my pain
Because just another rainy day they say
The noises, the sounds, played in my head like CD
Soothing me to sleep every night it came down
When the rain came down it would never leave a frown
Because that feeling was just another rainy day they say
You would wake up every morning and check the weather
100%, 50% chance of rain they would say
And I felt the happiest ever because the rain wasn't going to DELAY!!!!
So I'd wait for the rain and just when it came I got out of bed
And I ran outside and danced in the rain because I felt alive not at all dead
Because just another rainy day they would say
And if those few seconds is what got me through those days
Then I would dance in the rain everyday
And that's why they would say to me just another rainy day they would say.
