Kangaroo Family

In the dense vegetation
of the western Australian bushes,
lived a kangaroo we shall call Blister,
who lived with his mum, dad and sister.

Together they would bound their way through the bushes
in search of their favourite meal, the mulga bush.

Every day from dusk till dawn they ate and played
and ate some more.

One day Blister will be all grown up.
He'll leave his family when he's learnt how to jump.
