Nocturnal at night,

Dozing at day,

Ash grey fur,

Eyes are black,

Deep and dark,

Looking for food,

Climbing trees,

To find a home.

Living in eucalypt forest,

And wild woodlands,

The leaves as their lunch,

They munch and crunch,

But they are not safe,

Climate change land clearing,

They shout ‘No, no no,’

Their numbers are dropping,

Crying for help.

Save our koalas.
