The mindful

Calm

Cool

Water

As I sit against the lake

The scent of sap

Dripping

Slowly

Off the trees

Gold tones hit my face

The grass in between my feet is the softest of silk

Sweet baby birds chirp nearby

Ready for their food

I watch the sunset unfold

The possums scatter as they see me

Above, in the sky, the world is peaceful

As the sun falls asleep
