Laughing At The Sky

I walked up to the oval today

And what was looking at me?

White and yellow daisies

For all the world to see.

I peered up to the sky and said: “It's winter here, you know.”

It should be frosty and cold and hailing

and fluttering with flakes of snow

The climate is all a'changing

We are getting very confused

The animals, plants, and humans

We are really not amused

Who is playing tricks with us?

I really do not know

But prepare yourself for the thing of the future

Or you could make the slightest change

And get this thing inside your brain:

The temperatures are rising

And so are our seas

So let's save our planet before it's too late

'Cause right now, we'll barely survive at this rate
