Lost treasure

Lost in Thailand elephant ivory grows.
All the elephants die of the snow.
One elephant gets its ivory cut off.
The ivory gets plated with coal.
A boy buys it for $5.50 price.
At a temple the boy loses it
the ivory falls out the window
And lands in the elephant yard.
As shiny as gold an elephant finds
It and keeps it forever.
