Love by one

The weight of the small
Gazing over me in my dwelling
The rose softens their beady eyes
A smile so petite, so loving
The glitter studs brings texture
As the circular woven wool adds warmth
Given for comfort
Passed by others
Reminder of loss
reflection of love
Given by a musical mentor
Who has finished her final masterpiece
Plays her melody of wisdom
Even after the final note.
The woven yarn comforts the torn scar left by her final note.
