Meomories

Fluffy fairy floss clouds floated in the sky, like swans gliding effortlessly in the clean blue water. Stunning mountains towered above me. Trees reached out, touching the sky. The crystal-clear lake mirrored the rugged mountain and the tall trees. Towards me I saw a flower blooming in vibrant shades of Barbie pink. The sweet fragrance of the flowers overwhelmed me. The distant chirping of the birds was as soothing as a soft whisper of a gentle breeze through autumn leaves. Those were memories, from long ago. Silent tears welled up in my eyes. Nostalgic memories flashed back from my childhood when I was a young rabbit with my family.
Now I am doomed to a horrifying and gruesome future. Mountains of rubbish have replaced the serene mountain that once stood before me. The pollution is a thick blanket smothering the earth. Smoke rises from factories every day. Sea life innocently consumes the cheap artificial plastic humans throw away selfishly, after a single use. No more sight of the beautiful landscape. There is no escape from this prison.
