Moon in the corner

I hold you in my palm
Your tightly packed atoms
Form a rectangular solid
The size of a large piece of chocolate
But thicker (& unlikely to melt)
Fitting snugly in my hand
You are cool to touch
But warm in your dark pink colour
In one corner, a white circle
Like a full moon
With a gleaming halo
I found you on travels
In this ancient land
On a journey in search of myself
You remind me
Of time spent alone
Of introspection
And that never-waning moon-in-the-corner
Is what I found
Inside myself
