Morning Sunlight

The sunlight hits the trees, lighting up the

Dewy ferns on the rainforest floor

The light's reflection on the water drops shines

So bright, creating a burst of light sparkling like

 Diamonds reflecting their beauty

and beams of light onto the darkness of the forest floor

Enhancing the beauty that was covered by

The still blackness of the night, like a

Sheet lifting, uncovering its beauty with

the warmth of the light

The sun beaded down onto the ground 

warming the earth like a hug, breathing

life back into the darkness that rested 

upon the forest floor.
