Thick, oak trunk,
Raindrops stir in the breeze,
Grass glistens in the morning dew,
The ground covered in leaves,

Deer stunned at my presence,
Birds, safe and dry,
The whole world wakes up,
The butterflies begin to fly.

Wallabies start to wake
A feather caresses the floor,
Flowers bloom,
The birds, dive and soar.

Wombat burrow,
Tall tree,
Nothing but nature,
Just you and me.

A shrill tune fills the air,
A bird’s call of warning,
All animals are quiet,
For it is the morning.
