Morris the bear

From Mr Tickles,
To the crab in your pocket,
To eating your biscuits,
And making a mess,
Getting the groceries,
To eating lunch,
You were always there for me,
Even though I lost you a couple of years ago,
It seems like you still there today,
I think about you every day,
I read the books we read
And finish the colouring-ins we started,
Morris the bear is at our house,
He used to sit in the back room at your place,
Where we used to play when we were younger,
My cousins and I always went in the room,
He used to sit on this brown pillow that was round
With four buttons in it,
Now he sits on Ruby's bed,
He is white with brown-black eyes,
You named him Morris,
But we don’t know why,
We didn’t take much notice of the bear before,
The corner where we always sat was the corner that Morris was in,
After you sadly passed,
Nan kept Morris with her for a while,
But then she gave it to us
