The rare Par blue parakeet flies in the sky
The koalas sleep and snore high in the trees
Kangaroos wait their turn to cross the street
Wombats nestle themselves far into their burrows
The Tasmanian devil rips up the food they’re about to eat
The saltwater crocodile hisses at birds flying by
The Australian southern cassowary storks insects
The short nosed echidna licks the floor looking for food
Kookaburras laugh at other animals walking by
A numbat sprints back to its home in the hollow logs
The thorny devil lays down hiding from predators
The platypus races up and down the river bank
The land is full of music from the animals
