My Amethyst Ring

My precious amethyst ring
Is such a gorgeous thing.
The amethyst has a nice shine,
And that is why it is mine.

Purchased with money from my birthday,
It was a great price to pay.
It really is worth purchasing,
Such a dazzling amethyst ring.

Silver is on the outside,
And zarconia on the inside.
Around the amethyst are small jewels in a circle
like synchronized swimmers in swimming pools.

It has always been kept
In the box it came in, except
When it is being shown off,
And I have never heard people scoff,
Because they are aware of the beauty,
Of my gorgeous amethyst ring.

Ever since I laid my eyes on that ring,
I knew it was quite an alluring thing.
