My ballet shoes
Will take me places;
Made from leather,
Different to the rest.
With carefully sown elastics,
Taking time.
Without the other we're not complete,
Our connection shared,
Classical choreography is challenging;
With my ballet shoes,
I could dance for miles.
An energetic beat,
Flowing movement,
Soundless fun,
Peaceful serenity,
So my special object it will stay,
