My Blue Dolphin

The little blue fluffy dolphin
who sits on top of the wardrobe
the eyes which always twinkles like a star
that spy on me everyday.

The day that the weather was dreadful
and I was leaving my grandma
we walked down into the shop
and she bought me the toy dolphin
I thanked her and hugged her
and as I went to the airport
she told me to be careful with it
I told her I would.

Every time I was lonely
I would look at the dolphin
it always seemed to smile at me
and remind me of my grandma
I was glad I kept the dolphin
as it reminds me of times in the past.
