My Book

The joy of a book,
The sweetness filled pages,
Should not be overlooked,
By the lack of happiness.

Though for most it means nothing,
To me it's more than just empty words.
It's touching and inspiring;
Deserving of all its awards.

It's a way to escape life briefly,
Escaping from any current upset,
Away from the noise and industries,
Reading it is not a regret.
