My Bunny and Me

My bunny is as blue as the sea
He keeps asking “Can you play with me?”
His bright big eyes open like he’s surprised
When he’s watching me.
As the afternoon is waking he seems to be waiting.
My blue, bold, bunny was tired.
But always with a time to play.
Waiting and waiting.
Squeak!
The door opens.
My bunny is fast asleep after a tiny
Squeak!
He wakes with a start because
An alarm sounds.
Time to play!
