My Calm Place

As I walk through the water, I feel the fish glide past my legs, it tickles.
I call my dog over to come and play with me,
We play all day long.
It is the most relaxing play you can imagine,
Leaves fall from the big old trees,
They are as old as time.
The leaves float down to me from the small stream.
A rock falls in the ice-cold water.
I wonder if it hurts.
I ask the river, “Does it hurt?”
The big old river politely says, “It just tickles.”
As I walk through the water I feel the fish glide past my legs, it tickles.
