My Castle on a Hill

Coarse, dull, stony, its surface is
Colossal, pale towering cylinders,
Years it took to construct its life,
I have not laid eyes on it in my years,
I’d love to go there though, one day,
To see my castle on a hill,
My father once passed down the truth,
That Millikan is in my blood,
It is my father’s mother’s last name,
I hope you understand when I say,
My castle in a faraway place is there,
Waiting for me to one day bring my love,
To Scotland on the other side of the world,
As there is its land.
