Jagged jewels on a sheet of rock,
Like broken scales on a dragon.
Jagged violets blooming in spring,
My city of amethyst

It washed up on the shore,
Calling for me,
Like a message in a bottle.
And when picked up,
The City,
Polished by the sand,
Glistens in the sun.
Showing me the beuty
Of our pale blue dot.
