My Computer Poem

Your alien like glow shines in the night
Your rock hard surface is unbroken
Your body is dead and lifeless
Your brain works until it is time to stop
Your brain constantly drains power
Water runs deep within your body
Always hot never cold the fans run on and on
Your sign is to be feared
You may be a looter but your my computer
Everyday you teach me more and more
I look forward to getting home and relaxing
The more I play the more you work
Whenever I play I play using power at its core
Your life grows ever shorter as you boot up
You came in a box of deep brown
I ripped it open there was no question
You were mine no one else’s
You were a simple package to setup
The first time you glowed was the time I knew
I had made the right choice in buying you
At once I knew I had to accessorise you
Green, blue, red who knew what would be best for you
You have many, many benefits
You are small and portable
You are powerful and deceitful
You are upgradable
You are quite quiet at times
But when needed
You roar to life and destroy the competition
