My Cruise

I went for a cruise yesterday.

I saw the dolphins, jumping out of the water.

I saw the big fat whales

And they were waving at me.

I could feel the wind,

Blowing on my face.

I could feel the wind,

Blowing through my hair.

It was really cold, but it felt good.

I might hop in the water soon.

I can taste the dry sand in my mouth.

I can taste the salty water on my lips.

I hate the way the sand crunches between my toes.

I can smell the salty seaweed on the shore.

I can smell the slimy, yucky dead fish,

Just lying on the shore.

I think my cruise was weird, but also fun.

My favourite part – the whales were waving at me.

It was really fun!
