You stole me from reality,
Put a magic cloak on me,
Invisible from the rest of the world
To a place now out of reach.

At a glance you’re a fragmented reminder of what used to be
but behind the cover, a code waits to be cracked.
Before you, I was in a place of weird RiTten weRds,
You brought me to a place monsters don’t exist.

With each page memories flutter,
Butterflies into my heart.
I see the steam from the hot chocolate,
Crumbs inundate your pages, like shells on the shore

You brought my love of toast to life,
Along with the dilemma of facing my fears.
You live collecting dust on my shelf,
A forgotten memory I call childhood.
