My Giraffe

Waking up in my mother’s arms for the first time
I see everyone crowding around me
When everyone moves I see a big giraffe
Mum puts me in my bed as I touch the big fluffy giraffe
As I touched it I smiled
Mum knew I liked the gift
It was the first toy I had ever received and it made me happy
It means everything to me
I will take very good care of it for as long as I live
