My home within Quateira Beach

The water flows along the beach 

Sun shining along the sand

Rippling waves fill me with warmth, 

Any stress or worries float away

My body drifting through the waves, 

All the pain flows into the whitewash 

Sharp slashing rays of the sun

Dancing waves along the shores

Children playing and having fun 

I only have this feeling here

The place I go to, to get away from life

Because the thing I love is within reach 

Fish swimming, birds harmonising 

Life is fulfilled my home is near

Laying down in bed, calming songs playing in my head

The golden sand and sapphire waves bring me joy

At this time nothing will annoy 

The swell relaxes and so do I

Because Quateira Beach is where I lie
