My iPad Mini

It might be small,
but it cost me an arm and leg.
It's thin and clever like dolphins
in university, but it’s not made of leather.
It’s a rectangle shape like brick
made of clay that’s filled
with electronic devices
like a computer that got mutated
in a science lab.
I had it for five months,
but it feels like I got it yesterday;
it still looks new.
It seems I got it from a cockatoo.
